PRIVATE TEXT COMMUNICATION INTERCEPTED VIA SURVEILLANCE ORDER 772-AC99. FILE W/TSUKINO, USAGI K. — NO IMMEDIATE ACTION NEEDED.

Home. Sort of.

I’ve not really had a permanent home for a while, unless you were to count the two and a half years in jail. I figure I could have went back to Sobeseki, but decided to rent an apartment in the Navy station in Piak. The area is familiar to me due to my time in Apex, is close to several agents I can get work from (if I want to even do that again), and is not too far from Jita, since I do have a ton of crap lying around that I could sell to pay off my fine.

Regardless, it’s nice to be able to lie down in a bed with a mattress again. Was the second ranked thing I was looking forward too once I was released.

First?

As soon as I was sure my clones were active again, I flew outside and blew myself up.

I’d aged.

Not much in two years, but enough.

I didn’t go through all of this to be a 43-year-old in a 43-year-old’s body. Especially not the body that the prison gave me.

Was odd being back out there. Gave me a massive headache (or at least it did till my pod exploded). I guess I’m not used to flying the ships sober. Something I’m going to have to deal with if I want to get back to work.

Have connected to the comm channels I used to hang out in again. Saw Logan, but didn’t say anything. He’s surely moved on, and even if he isn’t married or something by now, I don’t deserve him. I don’t deserve a lot of things.

Not sure if I am mentally ready for all this free time I have again. Guess that’s what a nap is for.
